Utah-Park City

Park City, Here We Come!

Could my back be any closer to the back? My hubby was kind enough to pull the bar down in front of us, too. After laughing at me, of course.

I can't even look at this picture (yes, those are my hubby's gorgeous feet, though).

Brake, Grandpa!

I wish I could hop back in this picture!

We had a blast the day we spent in Park City, Utah. We headed straight for the Alpine Slide, Roller Coaster, and fair-like activities for the kiddos. I almost had a panic attack on the ski lift that took us up to the Alpine Slide. My heart skipped a few beats when Kevin looked over the edge. I was petrified Hayden was going to fall off, too. The boys laughed at me (they shouldn't have) and thought my fears were sort of funny, but after feeling like I was two steps from falling off Mt. Timpanogos earlier in the week to feeling like alls I had to do was bend over to look at my toes and fall about four stories, I wasn't laughing with them. However, the ride on Alpine Slide was super fun. You were able to control your speed/braking, and I used the brake a great deal. Hayden rode with Kevin, and Kevin later told me that he never used the brake. Again, he was laughing, I wasn't. Kevin's dad seemed to love the brake, like me. Thankfully, we didn't have to take the ski lift up to the roller coaster ride. On the roller coaster ride, the attendant didn't warn us that we could fall off the ride like we could with the Alpine Slide if we went too fast, so I didn't use the brake at all. It was full speed ahead, and boy could I have ridden that all day, but the boys had fair rides to ride. Hayden rode the merry-go-round, and Rowan opted for the train and screamed and cried until the ride started and then looked rather shocked and confused-I laughed, but shouldn't of. We nibbled on french fries and sodas while Hayden jumped on the gorilla/dinosaur inflatable, and then we headed to the ski resort so that we could see our clogging cousins clog. Thank goodness for Sprint's GPS in their phones-it got us everywhere in Utah. The ski resort was beautiful, and we got to sit on a green, grassy hill as we watched a kids band play and our cousins clog. Our cousins were awesome and definitely made up for any skills that the band itself might have been lacking. Again, I laughed at the band, and shouldn't have. Maybe I've watched a little too much American Idol and my expectations were great, but my clogging cousins more than met my expectations, because they were awesome. After the boys band, an experienced, adult band was going to play, but my boys were ready to go home. We decided to stop at Chuck-A-Rama on the way home for dinner. Kevin was joking about how it should be called Up-Chuck-A-Rama, and we both laughed. We shouldn't have. I mean, we really shouldn't have. We had barely paid and were two steps from sitting down in our booth when Rowan up-chucked all over. I mean all over (think strawberry fruit snacks)! We quickly left the restaurant and were even granted a refund. On the way home, all of us were laughing. Just as we should...
