These are the mama and papa seahorses. The baby ones looked liked tiny worms.
The hippo was my favorite animal when I went to the zoo as a kid. We used to be able to feed them, too.
This rhino almost ate Rowan's car that he dropped for lunch. 
Hayden loved the Kookaburra song when he was little, so I had to get a picture of one.
The baby monkey was so cute!
But, not as cute as this little monkey.
Or, this one feeding the Lorakeet.
Hayden was a little nervous, but Rowan jumped right in to comb the goats.

In January, we went with my sister Heather and Billy to San Antonio. We spent the night at the Hyatt Place on the Riverwalk. We walked the Riverwalk, and it was gorgeous and filled with tons of visitors. We ended up eating at Casa Rio, and it was delicious! We went to the zoo in the morning, and we got there just in time to beat the rush. I really liked the tiny, baby seahorses that were barely visible, since they were so small. We went in the butterfly exhibit, fed the Lorakeets, combed the goats, got wax animals, and rode the train around the zoo. We had a great time. On the way home, we stopped in Greune to eat at The Gristmill. The food and atmosphere were wonderful. It was a really short trip, but a great one!
