Hayden was in the 7-8 age group and Rowan was in the 6 & Under age group, this year. Both boys did amazing. They will both be in the same age groups, next year, so they should do even better, then. Rowan almost didn't make the swim team. They were going to kick him off if he didn't beat 2 minutes without DQing (no touching the lane lines or the bottom) at the first meet. He did 1:18 and no DQ! He broke 47 seconds by the last meet, too. He even got a few heat winner ribbons, this season. He had a very good attitude, too. Hayden was able to do the Breast Stroke and Butterfly without DQing, which is an awesome feat! I only got one chance to work with him on his Breast Stroke and that was the week before the invitational. His breast stroke looks awesome, now, and I can't wait to see how much both boys improve, next year. I'm the secretary of the team now, too. Wish us all luck!

My high school coach my freshmen year, coach Jaime. She's been coaching the Anderson Mill team for over 26 years! She's AMAZING! She even remembered my best stroke and wanted to see me do it during the parent/coach relays. |
