Hayden had his first sleepover a few weeks ago with his girlfriend, Shaylee. We started off the night at Gattiland and then went home and watched movies all night after a little art time. Hayden even let Shaylee watch Tinkerbell. In the morning, Shaylee and I made pink, sprinkled covered, cinnamon rolls for Hayden & Rowan to have breakfast in bed. Then, we went and fed the ducks their breakfast at the park. The date ended after lunch at McDonald's. Shaylee was such a good helper, and we can't wait for her to come over again for another sleepover.

Pop-Pops

My sweet little boy fell over the weekend, and we just found out today that he fractured his collarbone in the process after his collarbone swelled up. Did you know you can actually hear the Pop when you break your collarbone? We took him to the urgent care after he fell, but he was so tough that he didn't even flinch during the examination, so the doctor thought he just had a concussion and maybe strained his neck. Even today, the doctor said he was tough stuff. It breaks my heart to know my baby is hurting, so I'm letting him eat lollipops right before bedtime. Shhhh, don't tell my hubby-he's out on a date with Hayden. Of course, let's be honest, I always let my baby eat lollipops-they are his favorite, and I'm a sucker myself. My baby calls lollipops, Pop-Pops. You'd be a sucker for him, too, if you saw his belly, or collarbone right now, for that matter...
