Hayden was baptized in September. His handsome daddy baptized him, and his Grandpa Turner confirmed him. They asked him what his favorite food was, and he said McDonald's or Fogo De Chao, and we were tasked with getting that for him after the baptism. Right afterwards, we had a family party at our house to celebrate his baptism and Nadia's 3rd birthday. I felt silly combining them, but my family is so big and busy that it was easier for everyone, I think. Two birds with one stone. I'm proud of Hayden's decision to be baptized and his sweet spirit. He is such a good boy and very innocent. He has a lot of faith (recently prayed that his aunt would be cured of cancer, over and over) and it is easy for him to believe in things, including miracles. He tries hard to choose the right and be good.
I can't believe my baby girl is 3! Although, if you ask her, she is still 2 and a half, because she can't hold up just 3 fingers. She's practically 33 by now, because she is really into being the birthday girl and getting presents, ever since her birthday. Her and Rowan are a lot alike, that way. I wish I was better at saying No to her, but could you say No to something so cute? Every time I take her to the store, she wants a toy and cookies. She tells me she is hungry at least a dozen times a day. She is a super girly girl, and is asking me where her make-up is, right now. She is a momma's girl and loves to hug and kiss me. She has a Minnie Mouse voice and seems very quiet and shy, most times. I catch myself staring at her in disbelief at how stinkin' cute, adorable, and angelic she is. It's like I'm watching a movie where they are trying to show you the cutest most innocent angel in the world. She only weighs about 31 pounds, but is really tall for her age (95+). She likes to color, is AMAZING at puzzles, like seriously amazing, likes to play games on my tablet, loves Netflix (Strawberry shortcake, Caillou, Franny's Feet, & Miffy, etc.), building with blocks, playing outside, and playing with friends. She likes stuffed animals like her brothers (Build a Bear and TY.com). She also likes to watch family videos and look at family pics like her brothers. She loves her big brothers and doesn't mind being the only girl and baby of the family. In fact, I think she prefers it. She has the most beautiful blue eyes and eyelashes. She has bumps all over her belly (a viral infection), which is her only imperfection. They should go away, soon. Let me ask her what she likes. From Nadia: Ummmmm, Ella to sleepover, she has a sleeping bag for her, and she likes eating her boogers, because they are yummy. Well, there you go folks! Those blue eyes of hers won't keep the boy away, but maybe that fun fact will :)
