Random Pics

The most exciting thing that has happened the last couple of weeks is that it snowed for a brief period of time. Hayden thought it was pretty cool, and poor Rowie missed it. The boys have changed their sleeping schedule to midnight to 9 am. Therefore, mine is now about midnight to 6 am, but somehow I'm the only one who didn't get the recent stomach bug they all have. Right now, my hubby is sick in the bathroom, and my two boys are in bed watching cartoons after I've changed about 20 diapers and bathed vomit off of me and Rowan. I was really looking forward to the boys wearing their cute matching Christmas outfits to church tomorrow, but I guess that's not going to happen. Well, with any luck I'll get the boys to bed before midnight, and I won't end up in the bathroom like Kevin... Good night.

Pics With Santa/Xmas Trees

We tried to get pics with Santa at the mall, but the line was too long and then Santa had to go to lunch. So, we went to HEB to get pics with Santa. Hayden was very brave, and he even told Santa that he wanted vitamins for Christmas. So far, that is the only thing he has asked for, and says he already has enough toys, cars, balls, etc. I was actually surprised that Rowan didn't want to sit on Santa's lap. We also visited the Macy's tree at the Domain a few times and took pics. Kevin actually takes much better pictures than I do, I just take more of them. Yes, Kevin is a man of many talents-how did I get so lucky?

Thanksgiving

I'm a little behind on posting, because I lost my camera for a bit. We first had Thanksgiving in Louisiana with the Turners. Kevin's brother Kent smoked a delicious turkey and pork roast, and we got to see Von, Travor, & Uncle Kent & Jeff. Kevin's parents came, too. We had a lot of fun spending time together, but unfortunately I didn't have my camera to take any pictures. On Thanksgiving day, we spent it at my parent's house. Kevin and Lou smoked 4 turkeys, we had ham, asparagus, cream corn, green bean casserole, yams, carrots, coleslaw, ambrosia salad, tons of appetizers, and who could forget mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Everyone kind of just helped out in the kitchen. Molly made a pumpkin cheesecake that was delicious, too. I'm so thankful that we were able to spend Thanksgiving with both sides of the family and that everyone was happy and healthy this Thanksgiving. Heidi was visiting Jordy in Europe and was missed. We celebrated my brother Adam's 21st Birthday, too. He was recovering from hand surgery for the 2nd time on his hand/wrist. He re-broke it while trying to defend his friend at a club, allegedly. How chivalrous of him...
