Portrait Innovations 12/22/2010

Here are some of the photos from the pics we took for Chad & Molly. We like to get pics taken with all of their nieces/nephews. Nathan & Ella belong to Molly's sister, Brielle and her husband, Dan. It's funny that Nathan and Hayden look like siblings and Ella & Rowan do, too. Later that night, Hayden & Rowan were fighting over who gets to marry Ella.

Texas Stars

Robot Rowan

Chad & Molly took all of us to a Texas Stars game the day after Thanksgiving. It was lots of fun-and I loved where we sat. It made it easy for us to all talk to each other, and it made it easy for me to entertain Nadia. It also made it easy for the boys to get up and dance! Go Stars!

Thanksgiving 2010

Nadia had a wonderful 1st Thanksgiving. We started the day by heading to my parent's house to help with Thanksgiving feast #1 (lunch). Brett's tree stood out to me as we pulled into the driveway with its bright orange leaves. Billy's mom made delicious pumpkin bread that I nibbled on with cream cheese. I made cream corn, and I tried to help put the other items together. Courtney and Heidi (Jordy was missed) helped get the appetizers on the table (one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving food). My dad, Heather, Chad, Mom, etc, helped with the rest of dinner. After eating appetizers, lunch, and dessert, we rounded up the gang and headed to Kevin's parent's house for Thanksgiving feast #2. To be honest, I didn't help make anything at his parent's house (was going to bring cream corn, but his brother Kent made some with smoked corn that was awesome!). Kent smoked a turkey, and his mom made one in the oven. Both were delicious. We sure missed having Von & Travor with us, but we look forward to seeing them next week. The boys were entertained by family at both houses (thanks aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, etc.). I'm thankful I have such wonderful family that live close by to spend the holidays with. I'm thankful for their cooking skills, too ;)

Hayden's Thanksgiving Lunch at School

I took my mom and Rowan to go eat Thanksgiving lunch with Hayden at his school. It was lots of fun to see his class in their Indian costumes they made, too. The boys liked the turkey, rolls, and pumpkin pie.

They Just Can't Get Enough

Rowan & Hayden just can't get enough of Nadia! And, I just can't get enough of Kevin-but those pics are for my eyes only ;)
