Christmas 2011

.

We had a wonderful christmas, this year. After opening up stockings at our house, we headed to my parent's house. By seven, everyone was there, breakfast was cooking, and presents were being unloaded and distributed. This year, we went around the room and one by one opened up presents (you only open one present each round). It takes a few hours, but it is super fun! Some hits were Heather's mini computer, dad opening up his wrapped UPS packages with the gifts he ordered himself online (stuff from the LA police academy gear, dad's gift to Jordy of cool gatchets, Rowan's bike, Jordy being able to come, the breakfast casserole, tickets to Cirque Du Soleil & Alamo Drafthouse from Chad & Molly, Heather's homemade gifts-cute shirts, candy jars & awesome blankets for the boys, stockings from Craig & Courtney for the kids, high chair for Nadia, a pig for me, the matching PJs and probably a dozen more that I can't remember right now. After a big lunch of prime rib, we took the tuckered out kiddos to Kevin's parent's house for Christmas #3. There, we were spoiled with yummy food (Kent and his mom are awesome cooks!) and even more gifts. Luckily, the twins were there. I got a cool new bed spread and awesome work chair, digital picture frame, new sub, among many other awesome gifts. The boys got lots of super hero and mario toys. The twins got the Kinect, which we all had fun playing while they were here. This Christmas was awesome, but I'm going to try even harder to spoil those that I love, next year!
